A small wish and a beautiful dream
Fly out quietly when I open my eyes
The dazzling sunlight replaces the two
And grows brighter as the day goes by

The colors of life come and greet me
As new happiness eagerly meets me
New opportunities open arms for me
And hope sets all my inhibitions free

Laughter and love are coming my way
And now surely they are just here to stay
The wind has come to take my fears away
I soar up high and have the world to survey

The times are helpful and are here to teach
That life is not what others have to preach
It is so unique for everyone and for each
The skies are high, you have plenty to reach

So I spread my wings and aim to fly high
And all impossible things I want to try
I want my heart to flutter with great joy
As I celebrate my freedom, and utter a cry!
